I wanted to create a list of places to order to-go from around the east valley that everyone could support! This list will be updated as changes come during the quarantine. So no long intro here. Restaurants

Ghost Ranch, South Tempe

This was the first place we ordered from in this quarantine and I got the rice bowl and it was SO good. Even though I live just down the street from this place I’ll be honest that it isn’t in the top of my mind when eating out. The typical atmosphere is great but the food is a little pricey for me. BUT right now they are having killer to go deals. They change daily so keep an eye on their Instagram for the time being.

Sicilian Butcher, Chandler

This is a staple favorite of mine. Authentic Italian food. I got the build your own pasta with Tomaso’s meatballs, vodka cream sauce and Creste de gallo pasta. I don’t know how, but sometimes I forget how good the meatballs are until I have them and then I cannot stop thinking about them. Also the cannoli’s are just to die for. Right now they have several really good family meal packs, a date night pack and a meal kit for you to cook at home! You can call either of their locations for curbside pick up.

Jimmy and Joe’s Pizza, Tempe

This place takes me back to high school honestly. This pizza place sponsored and supported almost every extra curricular in my highschool!  But you cannot beat Jimmy and Joe’s pizza. They have something called a “serious slice” which is a giant slice of pizza that you can customize to have whatever you want on it. They are doing online ordering, to-go and delivery via Postmates, UberEats and GrubHub.

My Wine Cellar, Ahwatukee

This is my mom’s favorite place. She usually goes here at least once a week with her girlfriends to catch up. Right now they are offering curbside pickup from 4-8pm. My mom’s recommendation is to get the flatbread.

Postino, Tempe

They are also having some stellar deals including meal deals for 2 or 4 people. I love their bruschetta and this would be a great opportunity to share with your quarantine buddy at home. Or to eat and drink by yourself if that’s the vibe too. 

Babbo Italian Eatery, South Tempe

If you’re looking for a deal this is the place. Everyday, it seems, they are listing a new deal of the day. It ranges from 20% to $35 meal deals. I have only eaten here once or twice but the food is solid if you are in the area!

Crepe Bar, South Tempe

A true classic of South Tempe. At one of my first jobs, this was my boss’ favorite place (hi Mike) and I can’t think of this place without thinking of him! They recently re-worked their menu to include take out and all proceeds from the food are going to lost wages for their in-house staff. On a PS note they have a gluten-free option for crepes!

Worth Takeaway, Mesa

Another one of my favorite places. I don’t get to go here much anymore because it isn’t near to me but when I have the opportunity I take it! Worth is a small sandwich shop with weekly specials. They are offering weekly deals to support spending in their community – as I’m writing this if you buy a 4 pack of local sodas you get a gree banana pudding but be sure to check back to their Instagram for updates! They are offering to go and delivery on Postmates, UberEats, GrubHub and DoorDash.

Curry Corner, Tempe

Personally, I haven’t been here but this was a recommendation to add to a list from a good friend! They are a small Pakistani restaurant offering to-go curry and delivery through DoorDash, UberEats, GrubHub and Postmates. From just a quick glance at their website I for sure will be trying the Tikka Masala Fries!

San Tan Brewery, Chandler

A fav in downtown Chandler! They are currently doing curbside pick up along with delivery on all major food delivery apps. You can order growlers of beer or any of their amazing pub food – fish & chips are a personal fav!

Four Peaks Brewery, Tempe

A favorite brewery in Tempe. The team at Four Peaks is one of the sweetest and they are doing delivery on all orders over $20 (before tax) and you can find that delivery map on their Instagram! Order beer or food to keep you going in this quarantine.

Sushi 101, Tempe

My FAVORITE sushi place. I worked in a sushi restaurant all through high school and into college and it’s so hard to find quality in Arizona. But Sushi 101 has the best fish, in my opinion. They are offering 20% off to go orders and you can order from them on major food ordering apps!

Li’s Asian, South Tempe

Offers authentic Chinese Cuisine and delicious tasting Sushi in Tempe, AZ. They are offering curbside pick up and online ordering!

Sweetest Season, South Tempe

This place is RIGHT next to my apartment. They have such a fun variety on their menu and the staff is so nice. They are offering curbside pick up and delivery through the major food delivery apps. They also posted that they have a TO GO WAFFLE BAR! Must try!

Rigatony’s, South Tempe

I have been eating at Rigatony’s since high school! Literally we would go get coffee at Seattle Espresso, then get the small salad to go (which came with a side our bread) and that would be out lunch! They have curbside pick up down to a science! They also offer gluten free pasta!

Good Time Charli’s, Chandler

If you’re missing the bar scene you can get some curb side pick up for delivery from here! They have a variety of pub food along with tacos and menu full of yummy! They are on GrubHub and are offering delivery within a 5 mile radius via the restaurant as well! Stay up to date on their Instagram for deals.

The Larry, Downtown Phoenix

The Larry is offering pickup and delivery through all major apps and on their website! The Larry offers a variety of food so check out their menu to see what suites your fancy! They are currently offering a $20 pizza and beer deal.

414 Pub & Pizza, Tempe

Currently offering curbside pickup and take out of food and alcohol. If you are missing your college days this will bring you back. Don’t worry about parking on mill, the meters are currently free outside of restaurants to accommodate curbside pick up and take out orders!

Word of Mouth Grill, South Tempe

We ate here after our friend reccomended it! the BBQ is amazing and they are GF options PLUS we lucked out on a deal where we got cocktails to go. Check their Instagram to stay up to date and get the beans – trust me!

Peppermill Steak House, South Tempe

Located right next to Word of Mouth Grill if you were looking for a higher life dinning experience. They have their menu posted to their Instagram!

24 Carrots, South Tempe

THIS is the place for my allergy people. Everything at this restaurant Is VEGAN and they also cater to gluten-intolerances! As someone who is none of those things I still LOVE this place. GF Campfire brownies for the win (we ordered them two nights in a row). If you want the yum with less guilt – check it out!

Vincitorio’s Restaurant, South Tempe

Another classic Italian restaurant (i’ve realized this list is filled with them, but carbs are my favorite food so…). My parents have eaten here a few times in the last few weeks and they said that the appetizers are the star so don’t skip on the first course!

Coffee

Seattle Espresso, South Tempe

I have been coming here since I was in highschool. Literally. I’ve been more committed to this coffee place than most things in my life. It isn’t a pretty, Instagram worthy shop like most popular places now. But it is a cozy and comfy spot. I know all the regulars and the barista’s honestly make my day. They’re currently just doing to-go coffee but still have some seats outside the shop to sit at where you might find regulars hanging out. If it’s your first time get a White Russian!

Pexioto, Chandler

If you’re looking for a more upscale coffee than Pexioto is the place. Right now they are offering order online, curbside pickup and delivery on DoorDash. They have a seasonal menu that rotates but right now for the spring menu I recommend Cafe Creme. 

Mythical Coffee, Gilbert

This is a newer coffee shop which also means it needs your support more now than ever! I’ve only been here once but the coffee was delicious and, again, as I am typing this they have a special st. patricks day coffee made with lucky charms cereal so go give that a try! They are offering to-go coffee.

Great Harvest Bread Company, South Tempe

Another place I have been going for a while. Nothing beats fresh bread and especially right now when it seems the grocery stores are running low. The two breads I listed are my favorite but if you have a sweet tooth any of their cinnamon breads are also to die for! Right now they are offering vouchers in store of people in-need and giving customers the option to donate a loaf or donate their “free loaf” from their rewards program! As with many, they are also doing curbside pickup.

Deseo Coffee Shack, Phoenix

This is a cute, tucked away coffee shop that I randomly found on my way to work when I was frantically trying to find anything but a Starbucks near my office! It is a very cute and tiny shop to begin with but they have an order window they can take walk up orders and recently adjusted to accept call in orders! They have oat milk!

Early Bird, Mobile

This coffee cart/truck/magic house is owned by my friend Michela! She goes all around mainly the east valley and you can keep up with her schedule on her Instagram! This is a great way to get out while still supporting local and being outside!
